what type of crankshaf are you using to get the pistons so far out?
21011 block or 84mm crank?
show the pics of the head where this piston will fit :)

Block is 21213 1.7L.

Stoke :D

Now it looks like this.. Piston +0.2mm over deck.Pilt

i see you are using 21083 pistons with big dish in the center - how are you planning to get the CR up again.
you shaved 1,8mm from the engine block?
how much are you planning to shave off from the cylinderhead?
now the CR looks like something about 9,6 with standard combustion chamber...

Yes, these pistons are from 2108 engine. In 2110 engine are same pistons but with lock-ring for pin. Now i must use PTFE-plug for locking pistonpin.

I measured this dish size from 2108 and 21213 pistons and results are very interesting. 2108 dish looks very big, but it is only 1cc bigger than dish in 21213 piston. 2108 13cc, 21213 12cc. But now i get much bigger pockets for valves, and i can use much bigger valvelift.

Now with bigger stroke and after piston modification that dish is only 7cc and that will give big help for CR. Sylinderhead lost about 2mm and CR was 11.6:1 so i get good chance to make little bit modification to chamber and get some more flow space for valves.

Now CR is 11.3:1. I think it is enough.

My suggestion would be to trim the edges and corners of combustion chamber.
Any sharp corner and edge will increase the possibilty of detonation in combustion chamber

That foto was taken before polish and finishing.

Now chamber is smooth and without sharp edges. :D

That's good to hear :)

What are the dimensions of the exhaust header ?
I mean the runner pipe diameter and the end of the header.
And how thick is the pipe wall?

I knew that possibilty of detonation with sharpe edges, so i gave my best shot to eliminated it.

I dont remember runner pipes diameter but maybe they are 38mm and end of the header is 2" pipe (50,8mm). Thicknes of the pipes are 1.5mm.

I will measure these details and give more information during weekend.
